The time has come! I’m presenting my very first TV show of my own, produced by Brainpool for the German broadcaster RTL. More than 600 people came to the studios in Cologne to watch the recording of my iPad magic live.
The concept is a crossover format that captures the zeitgeist: television meets social media! It’s a mix of my digital illusions and successful YouTube clips.
The show was originally planned to air next spring, but there was a last-minute change: the slot directly after the German Comedy Awards became available. As a result, I was also invited to the awards to present the prize for “Most Successful German Comedy” – and to enchant the audience with a performance while giving a foretaste of my own show.
Produced by Brainpool and broadcast on RTL, the show was later licensed by Amazon for streaming – and is now available as a special on Prime Video (availability varies by country).
