Ellen DeGeneres, here I come! The famed comedienne and talk-show host invited me to her show and I’m preparing some brand new iPad magic tricks as you read this.
I got a call from one of the producers of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, inviting me to Hollywood to show Ellen some of my favorite tricks face-to-face.
I’ll be on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, February 18, which airs at 4pm in most TV markets in the United States. We’ll be rehearsing with Ellen’s producers and director on Monday, and the show’s recording is on Tuesday afternoon (2/17/15).

I can’t believe how excited I am about this! I have a grin on my face that just won’t go away. A friend told me today when we were checking into our hotel rooms that I looked “like the cat that swallowed the canary.” Oh, those charming English expressions!
So now here I am by the pool at the Roosevelt Hotel in the heart of Hollywood with my Emmy award-winning agent and manager Charlie White, who as a Mashable senior editor was the first journalist to help my YouTube videos go viral.
The news gets even better. Today Ellen announced that I’ll be appearing on the same show with Neil Patrick Harris, star of How I Met Your Mother. Think about it — I’ll be meeting the two latest hosts of the Oscars broadcast: Ellen was last year’s host and Neil Patrick Harris will host this year’s Oscars ceremony on Sunday, February 22 at 7pm Eastern Time on the ABC television network in the United States.
This is even more exciting for me because Harris is an accomplished magician in his own right, and happens to be a former president of the Magic Castle, a private club for the word-renowned Academy of Magical Arts here in Hollywood. I can’t wait to meet him!
